Kerbside collections will be one day later due to Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Collections will run from Friday 26 December to Saturday 30 December, and then Tuesday 2 January to Saturday 6 January.  

Events

Events can generate a lot of waste and recycling in a short period of time. A good event waste minimisation plan is a great way to reduce the waste generated in the first place and to maximise the diversion from landfill.

Beyond the Bin, a Tauranga company, received funding from the Ministry for the Environment to develop a series of videos to help event organisers learn more about event waste minimisation. The videos can be viewed on the Beyond the Bin website.
